Faenol Festival Cancelled

Today, the Faenol Festival announced that this year’s Festival is being cancelled as the result of poor advance ticket sales.

Making the announcement, the festival organiser said “May I take this opportunity to thank all our audiences who have supported us over the last ten years, and to those who responded to our call last month to show commitment to this year’s Festival by buying tickets sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, advance ticket sales in this challenging economic climate have not been sufficient for us to feel confident that we can move ahead with the full Festival.

Join our choir!

Do you have tickets for the Greenwich gig on Sunday 25th July and fancy joining the band on stage? If so read on...

We are putting together a small choir and there are just a few places left. You don't need to have experience, just the ability to sing roughly in tune. The arrangements will be very simple and you'll only be involved in a few songs so you can still watch most of the set as normal. There will be a rehearsal at the venue at 1pm on the day of the show.

As the Greenwich Summer Sessions are taking place at the Old Royal Naval College it seemed only right to give the choir a nautical theme. So you'll need to wear something suitable - anything from a sailor's hat or pirates outfit to a deep sea diving suit! There will be a prize for the best costume.

Unfortunately, due to guest list limitations you will need to have tickets already to take part. Please send an e-mail to info@athletehq.com if you want to take part. We'll pick a few names at random and let you know if you've made it into the choir.
